Typhoon Ondoy: Arenda

Typhoon Ondoy: Arenda Arenda is a resettlement area in Manila which sits about 2 meters below the water table. The land was raised by making it a city garbage dump for many years. Well over 40,000 people live there now and they are living literally on top of garbage. This area was greatly effected by the floods of Typhoon Ketsane (Ondoy) with around 6 feet of water in most people's homes.
