Migrant children from the provinces are ‘recruited’ by their employers in the guise of sending them to school in exchange for work at their households. Since the children are working inside homes, they are hidden from public eyes, thus are invisible. The situation of the child at their
workplace is unknown. They are not counted as legitimate workers and are beyond reach of the government and authorities.
