Forum on Child Pornography and Recent Developments in International and Domestic Laws

Dear partners from PCMN and Rhoda:

Adhikain Para sa Karapatang Pambata (AKAP), the child rights desk of the Ateneo Human Rights Center, invites you to a Forum on Child Pornography and Recent Developments in International and Domestic Laws on July 15, 2010, 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., Ateneo Professional Schools, 20 Rockwell Drive, Rockwell Center, 1200 Makati City.

Prof. Vitit Muntarbhorn, former UN Special Rapporteur on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, will share his insights on child pornography and the development of international law. Atty. Albert Muyot, Child Protection Specialist of UNICEF, will discuss the Anti-Child Pornography Act (Republic Act No. 9775), followed by an open forum.
RA 9775 was signed into law on November 17, 2009.
