Be a Part of the Millions of Christians Praying for Children at Risk

An Invitation to the Annual Global Prayer
June 1 to 5, 2011

There are thousands of Christians around the world responding to the needs for children at risk. However, the issues faced by children are too big for any one person or group to tackle alone, hence the need for Christians to connect and partner. Praying for children, the workers and the various projects is an excellent point for connection and convergence. You and your church/organization can be part of a united response to Jesus’ call to care for the “least of these” by participating in the annual Global Prayer for Children at Risk from June 1 -5, 2011.

As we pray for the children, our focus will be on the four major areas of influence in society as they shape the thoughts and values of cultures in different ways. They can have both good and bad effects on children. They are:

• Family and Education
• Business and Government
• Media, Arts and Entertainment
• Religion

For many children our world may appear desolate and hopeless – but we believe there is hope as we continue to uphold them before the Lord Jesus in prayer. Let us help increase the number of people praying by participating in this global movement of prayer on behalf of children at risk.
